Status Quo:
1. Normaly the Caret moves to the clicked position
before the context menu is shown (regular behavior of
most programs).
2. Only In single selection mode and when there is a
selection of text: Caret does not move (stays at begin
or end of the selection)
Requests:
1. same behavior in all cases
2. Toggle this behavior by a new checkbox
(GlobalOptions->TextArea) to control whether the caret
should be moved or not (in all cases:-)).

In fact, I can't see the goal for moving the caret via right click at all. But since there's no response for 5 years, maybe I'm alone in this opinion. Should I close this request? |
